The Activities of Student Associations in the New Normal Era of COVID-19 Infection
The Faculty of Forestry UGM encourages students to initiate their activities outside the teaching and learning through implementing strict health protocols. Student activities are in the form of virtual events, offline the gladian of Silvagama, GR ber-PKM with online and offline blended activities, and so on.
Silvagama ( Gladian XXXVI Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) Mapala Silvagama )
On March 6-8, 2021, 15 new members of Mapala Silvagama in a smooth and healthy condition were inaugurated in the Gladian XXXVI Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas). The new members are the 2019 and 2020 students of the Faculty of Forestry UGM. They went through a series of training exercises and activities. The names of the new members are: Siti Nur Aisyah, Farah Fadlilah, Sri Suryanti, Aulia Fitriyani, Ilham Tri Aji, Tantyo Dharmawan, Naufal Zaki Azhari, M. Fatchul ‘Alim, Jihan Alfiera, Stefanie Vitasya, Dimas Cahya, M. Raihan, Daru Jati, M. Wakhid Nugroho and M. Bayu Aji. Tirelessly, they succeeded in surpassing all exercises and obstacles in the current difficult times.
This series of activities was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic through implementing strict health protocols and Gladian Standard Operational Procedures (PSO) which adapt to the current situation.
Their struggle does not stop here. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one definite step.
